I’ve been thinking a lot about reading, gifts, and the holidays … no doubt due to the buzz in the kidlitosphere.First there is the November Carnival of Children’s literature and the theme: the gift of reading. Next, Amy (My Friend Amy’s blog) launched a Buy Books for the Holidays campaign. Lots of people have jumped in, and you can, too. Then we created a spot where you can find books on a theme to help you select good books. The Gift of Reading (Updated 17 Dec)

Yesterday I wrote this post about Amy’s new campaign: Buy Books for the Holidays. Then I headed over to blogger and serendipity struck. There are some great lists coming together already. At some point I plan to create an original post with some ideas you may enjoy. But in the meantime, I thought I would create a stopping place where you can come by to look for book ideas based on a theme of interest, OR, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, add a comment asking for assistance. Welcome to Monday

My first job on Monday is to post the Reading Round-up over at TubTalk. It is chock full of good stuff, and lots of practical ideas. Thanks again, Jen!
