Black Friday: Not Here

You don’t need to mark your calendar for Black Friday or Cyber Monday. We’ve been hearing about those phenomena for weeks (if not years). The idea that Black Friday is spilling into Thanksgiving itself is just sad. But that is a topic for another day. Instead, let’s mark our calendars for the National Day of Giving – Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Reading with Kids – Let’s Make Some Noise

There are lots of reasons that I love reading with kids. Sometimes I love a book for its story, but sometimes its for the words themselves. The way they “feel” in my mouth or when I say them out loud.
